3rd SEEA Conference on Dependency

From 9 to 11 June 2011, the 3rd conference on addiction in Slovenia, organised by the South Eastern European Adriatic (SEEA) Addiction Treatment Network, took place at the Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana. According to the conference organiser, Mr Andrej Kastelic, Slovenian programmes are internationally recognised and are a model for other countries, but experts are not networking with each other.

The aim of the conference was therefore to present all areas of addiction to alcohol and tobacco, illicit drugs and non-chemical drugs. The conference was also attended by Matej Košir from the Utrip Institute, who, during his presentation of the main activities of the Institute (mainly research results), presented, among other things, the "Prevention Platform" project.
